big welcome to Peggy Scott Adams the newest member of the Desert Sounds
family. The first single from her "Back To the Roots" CD will hit the
airwaves August 17Th. Make sure you check out "Yes He Did", the full CD
will follow late September or early October. Ms. Adams will tour
nationally in support of the new release.
Bobby Jones
Super southern soul artist Bobby Jones is a music legend
known around the globe for his sultry, heart stopping hits "In The Mood
for Love", "Innocent Till Proven Guilty", and mellow ballad "That's
Still My Love". His brand of unique sound is sexy and provocative, with a
soul stirring southern soul drive that has kept him a favorite for over
four decades. Along with southern soul, Bobby is an accomplished
R&B and country artist, writer, and producer.
After a number of years touring internationally as a featured singer with the renown blues group The Mannish Boys, Bobby decided it was time to return to his roots, those roots of Southern Soul, as a single artist. He did it with a profound impact with the release of his latest CD on Desert Sounds Records, "You Ain't Got No Proof"! A host of rave reviews from Las Vegas to Atlanta, Stockholm to Finland are touting this as his greatest effort ever!

Green Eyez
Green Eyez, Ricky Gibson, first stepped on the scene during the banging on wax era. A
native of Lake Charles Louisiana, and growing up on the west side of
Inglewood, he displayed his skills as a writer for Bangin on Wax 1 (that
went gold). Green Eyez got his chance on the mic with Bangin on Wax II,
(which sold 277,000 copies world wide). He was first interested in
music around the early 80's when gangsta rap boldly took over, and like
many others, Green Eyez preferred this style as a self expression for
himself, seeing how it mirrored his everyday life. Unfortunately, this
lifestyle caused Green Eyez incarceration for many years. While doing
his time in prison, Green Eyez began to lose himself in his lyrics by
constantly writing. Through the years of incarceration, his constant
creative writing helped pass time and was an escape from his
surroundings. Not long after Green Eyez' release from prison in 2000 he
dropped his first debut album "HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE" with the single
Ghetto Star rising to # 12 on Billboards Top 100 Hot Rap Tracks and #22
on R&B. However, without the correct means to properly promote the
album, it would only reach the inner city for recognition. Green Eyez
was not discouraged with the promotion of his first album and
immediately started work on his sophomore album "ME AGAINST THE WORLD".
This album proves his maturity as a lyricist and artist, and shows his
diversity in rhyming. "ME AGAINST THE WORLD" takes on audiences of all
genres, and reveals how the rapper dug deep within him and filtered his
emotions to produce such a project. With his never ending, determination
and dedication Green Eyez will keep pushing until he is world renown
and on top. "It will not end there".
Green Eyez enjoyed immediate success after the release of his single
off the Me Against The World album "Mama's Baby, Poppa's Maybe. In May
2002 his single charted at number 4 on the Billboard Hot Rap Charts and
remained in the top ten for eight weeks.

Avail Hollywood is one of the most outstanding young singer/performers in Southern Soul, and R&B today. At 27, his velvet sound captures and seduces his audience in song, music, and expression. Although young, Avail has been an active contributor to the music scene for a while, having made his mark as one of the premier drummers in this arena playing with veterans Donnie Ray, Carl Sims, and Jeff Floyd. Just mention the name "TAC" and you'll get an immediate chorus of raves and approvals from those who are familiar with Avail's writing and producing.

CHARLES MCCORMICK
The first solo CD effort from
"Bloodstone" member Charles McCormick "The Many Moods of Charlie Mack" is on its way March 30, 2012. The first single
release will be the hauntingly soulful "Why Baby". McCormick remains a member of the
famed international group "Bloodstone" and is fulfilling his desire
to offer up a solo effort.
Charles is the writer and lead
vocalist on the "Bloodstone" platinum hit "Natural High", and he brings
all of his talents and musical magic to his debut solo CD effort.
